The Group was founded over eighty years ago by the Cavaliere del Lavoro Gaetano D'Alesio. Sons Antonio and Nello continue to run the business today with help from the third generation: Gaetano, Antonio, Mauro and Francesco.

The Group's activity is based on maritime transport and ancillary services. Maritime transport is carried out by our fleet. The ancillary activities consist of the storage and handling of petroleum products as well as the marketing of pro-bunker products.

The D'Alesio Group fleet is made up of tankers that cover a wide range of commercial requests with capacities up to 40,000 DWT and which ensure high-level technical services all over the world.

The D'Alesio Group is also based in the port of Livorno with Costieri D'Alesio SpA and Toscopetrol SpA.
